Google Classroom Classwork

Finally, you can organize your posts!

Google Classroom has an update that will help teachers organize their posts.  Classwork allows you to organize by topic.  Until now, a student had to scroll and scroll and scroll to find a particular assignment.  Not anymore.  Please note, you only get the Classwork option with newly created Classrooms.  I contacted Google and they said older classrooms would eventually have that option, but it would take time.  I suggest you create new classrooms to get this great topic option.

Notice, the new tab on the top of your classroom called Classwork.

Once you click on that tab, you will see that you have the capability to create different topics to help with your assignment and post navigating.  Now, anytime my staff needs to find agendas, they will be located under the Agendas area.

When I click on Goals, all my staff's goals will be located under that topic.

So how does it work?  When you click on Classwork, you have the option to create an assignment, question or topic.

When you create an assignment, you are given an option to place it within a topic.

I believe everyone will benefit from this new Google Classroom feature.
